PROJECT
BRIEF

The client wanted to have an engaging interactive visual to bring people in towards the marketing desks that sit at the front of Marriott hotels, with the ability to engage a consumer in the off hours but allow the sales person to show a special deal in active hours

WIREFRAMES

Taking the clients needs into account I designed three approaches to laying out the content and how a user would flow from page to page

FIRST
STEPS

Once our wireframes were approved, templates and interaction modules were added, it moved from  a gesture-based system to a swiping mechanism more familiar to an iPad user, navigation was moved to the top, to allow someone behind the desk to manipulate the display without having to walk around and the map was simplified to show hotels and experiences as grouped pins rather than individual pins.

LESSONS
LEARNED

As we tested and iterated on this project, we learned a lot;  what copy brought people to the kiosk, what images and information was most interacted with and with this information we continued to slim down the presentation and streamline the experience.
